Lord Robert Arryn (called Robin Arryn in the show) is the head of House Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie, Warden of the East, Lord Paramount of the Vale and Defender of the Vale. The only child of Jon and Lysa Arryn, Robert is a sickly child and mentally younger than his age. He was taken to the Eyrie after the death of his father, where he was raised by Lysa, who reigned as Lady Regent of the Vale. As such, Robert's condition wasn't improved, as his mother coddled him: this changed when she was murdered, and her new husband, Petyr Baelish, took over as his regent, forcing him to train with sword and bow and to make him a man. He remains at the Eyrie.
