Needle is a small, slender Braavosi-style sword forged by Mikken, on the order of Jon Snow, for Arya Stark. The weapon is well suited for Arya's slight build, although this prevents her from fighting in the style of Westerosi knights. Rather, Needle is more suited for the "Water Dance" style of fencing popular in Braavos, which emphasizes speed and agility with quick, small thrusting attacks.
