King Robb I Stark (formal: King Robb of the House Stark, First of His Name), known pre-coronation as Robb Stark, was the head of House Stark, Lord of Winterfell and, late in his life, King in the North. After receiving a letter from the Small Council in King's Landing after the incarceration of Eddard Stark, Robb called the banners and declared war on the Seven Kingdoms. Despite winning a major victory and capturing Ser Jaime Lannister, his father was executed, causing him to continue the war to seek vengeance. He won several more victories, before making a series of decisions and suffering setbacks that forced him to withdraw and try and reconsolidate. This decision would lead to the Red Wedding, which ended in Robb Stark's murder at the hands of House Frey and his former bannerman, Roose Bolton.
